Have you tried to specify the width and height in the bundle tag:
<bundle clear="true" file="${islpath}/test.xidv" height="400"   width="500"/>
You can also resize the image, not sure which is best for you.

This sounds like a bug to me. Could you send me a sample file to try locally?
