[IDV #MKR-443485]: stereo support on idv 5.0

Hi Al,

That's good news about 3d stereo. Thanks for letting us know.

I am surprised by what you are saying concerning 5.3u1 and Windows 10. I thought
this issue was resolved (if it is the same issue I am thinking of). Can you
double check a few things for me. Please make sure you are downloading the
latest 5.3u1 nightly

www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/nightly/index.jsp

Also on your window 10 system please move your .unidata directory out of the way
which should be in \Users\<username>.

When you go to the Help --> About, System Tab, the Java version should be:
1.8.0_51.

Please keep us up-to-date on your progress.

Best,

Unidata IDV Support
