The scree shot of your GCMT data looks ok to me, but I am not very familiar 
with the earthquake dataset. You should make sure each point has its 
lat/lon/alt, can not have
any missing data in the coordinate variable.  I noticed you running the IDV on 
a 32 bit OS, the java memory limit is very low. You should consider a 64 bit OS 
where you
can have more memory.
