[IDV #YJJ-616346]: Importing radar data

Dear Brian and Haime,
According to the IDV support archive, the IDV never really supported GeoTIFFs
apart from the Omnicontrol which will not geolocate the image on the map. Under
the hood, I believe the issue is it is an unwieldy task for the IDV to support
the many different GeoTIFF map projections, coordinate systems, ellipsoids,
Note the IDV supports several different radar formats (NEXRAD Level II, Level
III, TDWR, Universal Format (UF), DORADE, CINRAD, CFRadial(?)) so if you have
the original radar data in a different format you may give that a try.
