[IDV #ZSW-765017]: IDV 5.0u1 on Mac OS X (10.9)

At your earliest convenience, please download the current version of the IDV.

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp

The issues you reported earlier should be fixed. If, possible please confirm 
this.
