[IDV #HZM-911102]: java 7

Dave,

Unfortunately, the situation on OS X is problematic. Java 3D which is required 
by the IDV does not run on Java 7 for OS X. The small Java 3D community is 
waiting for a fix from Oracle which will hopefully come soon. For now, on OS X, 
the only option is Java 6.
