[IDV #QVI-806487]: 2.8 not loading on OSX

2.8 requires Java 1.6 which is only available on 64-bit Intel Macs 
unfortunately.  If you have one of those, you can download at:

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/application_updates/javaformacosx105update1.html

we had to move to 1.6 since the supporting netCDF library moved to that version 
(and it's been out for  3 years. ;-)).
