I would suggest checking out from our svn repository.  That way if
we put in bug fixes as we are working with you, you can get them immediately.
The repository is at:

http://svn.unidata.ucar.edu/repos/idv/trunk

We are planning on a full release of 2.7 by the beginning of June.
