We sort of support this but its buggy and does not work right. The idea is to
supply the identifier
of a display in the image or movie tag, e.g.,:
<image display="id of display to capture" ...>
and the IDV will capture the gui of the display. The problem is that you can
only capture the entire GUI of
the cross section display and for technical reasons the actual cross section
does not show up in the
captured image, just the GUI surrounding it. There are also probably problems
with capturing animations
as well.
I am actually on vacation right now (not quite sitting on a beach yet but later
today I will be) so I probably
won't get this fixed this week but I will take a crack at it next week.
