I am substituting the latest netCDF jar (ncIdv) for the one currently in the
IDV_2.6u2 directory,
when I do the IDV will not start and gives this error: Fatal error
initializing resources
Expected static method
ucar.nc2.iosp.gempak.GempakParameterTable.addParameters(Ljava/lang/String;)
Am I doing something wrong here?
Yes, you are doing something wrong. We are always doing development on the IDV
and on the netcdf code.
You should try using the nightly build (well, its not quite nightly):
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/nightly/index.jsp
That contains the latest ncIdv.jar file
