Hi,

We are now in an extended period where GOES-17 images will be replaced
by GOES-18 images in the GOES ReBroadcast (GRB). The GOES-18 imagery
in the SATELLITE IDD feed (aka DIFAX) will contain G18 instead of G17
in the product names. Here is an example of a Product ID that for a
GOES-18 Channel 05 Mesoscale-1 image sent in the IDD a couple
of minutes ago:

/data/cspp-geo/product/OR_ABI-L1b-RadM1-M6C05_G18_s20222151940277_e20222151940335_c20222151940384.nc

So, your LDM configuration file REQUEST needs to be modified to either
REQUEST GOES-18 imagery, or, better yet, to REQUEST either GOES-17 or
GOES-18 imagery. Here is one example of how you could do this:

change:

REQUEST DIFAX "OR_ABI-L1b-RadF.+G17_" idd.unidata.ucar.edu

to:

REQUEST DIFAX "OR_ABI-L1b-RadF.+G1[78]_" idd.unidata.ucar.edu

Please remember that after making any modifications in the LDM
configuration file (~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf), your LDM must be stopped
and restarted for the change(s) to take effect.

Cheers,

Tom
