[IDD #CWR-357624]: LDM queue keeps growing

Hi,

The /reconciliation-mode setting in the LDM registry can be set so that
the LDM system will autogrow the queue. To prevent it from growing, you
should change this registry setting to 'do nothing'.

Yes, set /reconciliation-mode in the LDM registry to 'do nothing'; check the
current /queue/size setting to make sure that it is what you want; and
then restart the LDM. If the /queue/size setting is greater than what you
want, you will need to set the value you want in the registry; stop your
LDM; delete the current queue; and then remake the queue.

I have never seen a situation like this!

re:

Having both an ldm.pq and an ldmd.pq file is not normal. Exactly
what is causing it on your system is a mystery at this point, but
we could probably figure it out if we could examine your LDM
registry file, ~ldm/etc/registry.xml.

re:

The name of the queue will be part of the fully qualified name specified
in the /queue/path setting in the LDM registry. You should make sure
that this is set to <director>/ldm.pq. If it is set to something else,
then change the setting; stop the LDM; delete and remake the queue; and
restart.

No worries.

Cheers,

Tom
