[IDD #MGW-198908]: Unidata LDM feed for GOES-17 data

No, not really.  The reason it is in NOTHER is because of there not being
code in our NOAAPort ingest package that assigns it to a specific feed type;
NOTHER is our catch-all feed type where all products that aren't specifically
assigned to other feed types are put.  But, now that you bring it up, I have
long thought about distributing the reconstituted NOAAPort SCMI images in the
SATELLITE (aka DIFAX) feed so that sites don't have to do the work of
stitching together the tiles to form full scenes.

Yea, this might be better stated as NOTHER is a catch-all feed type.

I am surprised about this mainly because the full disk SCMI images have
been sampled down to 6 km resolution.  The GRB L1b full disks range in
resolution from 0.5 km down to 2 km as you know.

The GOES-17 SCMI tiles are already being distributed in the NOTHER
feed.  The GOES-17 GRB L1b images will be distributed in the SATELLITE
(aka DIFAX) feed in the same way that we are distributing the GOES-16
GRB L1b imagery.

The headers for the NOAAPort-delivered GOES-17 SCMI tiles use the WMO ID
just like the tiles for GOES-16.  The best way to review the LDM/IDD
Product IDs is to use the LDM utility 'notifyme':

We will be changing the feed type to SATELLITE (aka DIFAX) when we start
distributing the GRB L1b GOES-17 imagery, and the top level IDD relays
where the imagery will be available will be:

idd.unidata.ucar.edu
iddb.unidata.ucar.edu

We setup internal distribution/access to the GOES-17 GRB L1b products
on the SPARE feed for our convenience.

No worries.  We received the file with no problems; it just wasn't
automatically forwarded into our inquiry tracking system.
