This message is telling you that:

- you have an 'exec pqact' line in your ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf

- your ~ldm/etc/pqact.conf file has no uncommented actions

The message is suggesting that you comment out the 'exec pqact'
line from your ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf file and restart your LDM.

For some reason, your feed request never made it to idd.unidata.ucar.edu.
I figure that this is some sort of network routing problem. To test
this out further, do the following from poseidon.fisica.ucr.ac.cr:

<login as 'ldm'>

ping idd.unidata.ucar.edu

ldmping idd.unidata.ucar.edu

notifyme -vl- -f ANY -h idd.unidata.ucar.edu

By the way, after the network routing problem is figured out, you
should change your REQUEST from ANY "." to something less. ANY
is a LOT of data, and it is highly unlikely that the network
connection from here to UCR would support movement of all of the
data available through the IDD (up to 15 GB/hour) on a single
feed request.

Also, reverse DNS still does not work for poseidon.fisica.ucr.ac.cr:

[ldm@uni6 ~]$ nslookup 163.178.110.222
Server: 128.117.140.62
Address: 128.117.140.62#53

** server can't find 222.110.178.163.in-addr.arpa.: NXDOMAIN

We tried doing the reverse (IP -> name) lookup using a variety
of name servers in UCAR, NCAR, and elsewhere, and reverse
DNS does not exist for 163.178.110.222.

Cheers,

Tom
