RE: 20011025: IDD feed of NNEXRAD for Naval Research Lab

Hi Mike,

Yes, we had a major hardware collapse here today...still reeling from the
affects.

We have not set up a failover topology for NNEXRAD because we thought we
were being sneaky and added an allow *.edu to all of our top tier sites.

Unfortunately you slipped under this radar with the .mil suffix so we
should have another site hartd code you in for failover.

Could you please try a notifyme -vl - -h cirrus.al.noaa.gov -f NNEXRAD

and we can see if they have opened up the feed to .mil's I see they are
feding some .mil sites already. If you get denied we will ask them to
place you on the allow list.

Now the other issue... a failover for the other feeds.

Could you please perform a:

traceroute whitestar.uoregon.edu

and attach the results back to me, I was going to send you to UCLA, but
they feed from aeolus also so not much help there......

Thank you,

-Jeff
