Re: access denied again



Hi Larry.

I guess you did something because now all the sudden meteora does not
refuse connection to ebb anymore. Here is my new log:

This is all correct. I suggest that you do whatever you just did a few
minutes ago, since now the connection works properly.

I have no idea what those are, they are not from stanford. My nslookup
says the following:

28.217.129.134.in-addr.arpa     adiabat.rwic.und.edu

Anyway, are you saying that you are not getting any message that
ebb.stanford.edu is trying to connect and is being refused?? Maybe there
is someting wrong in your system, this is kind of important.

Are any other machines that you are feeding experiencing the same problem?
My machine has been refused at least four times in the last month, causing
me some problems. If for some reason my machine is the only one that fails
once you restart, I would like to be notified by you everytime you restart
the system, so at least I can connect to my failover site in time without
loosing precious data.
