Subject: IDD failover request
Jeff,
Thanks to the LDM workshop this week (which I'm attending as I type), I
realized that San Francisco State University doesn't have a failover
upstream IDD data source. Could you assign us one?
We have two machines running LDM right now (norte.sfsu.edu and
enso.sfsu.edu). I'm thinking about adding a third machine
(virga.sfsu.edu) capable of running LDM as well.
I notice that FOS and MCIDAS feed statistics from our recently enabled
IDD note, enso.sfsu.edu, don't seem to be showing up on Unidata's IDD
"Current Operational Status" WWWeb page, although at first glance I
have the appropriate ldmd.conf entry (to run pqbinstats upon startup)
and an appropriate cron job (to run "ldmadmin dostats" each hour. I'll
check again, but I might need some advice about how to get that
working.
