Christian,

This looks correct.

>#### Unidata-Wisconsin channel "text" files (i.e. NOT of type AREA, GRID or MD)

It seems that you somehow missed the announcements that all non-imagery
products were removed from the Unidata-Wisconsin datastream on July 1,
1999. This change had been announced periodically for about a year and
a half and pretty frequently in May and June.

>Thanks a lot again,

The text of the final annoncement is included here:

Users of Unidata-Wisconsin datastream products:

This is the FINAL reminder that all non-imagery products (e.g. MDXX,
GRID, and TEXT (UNIDATAS and PROFILER.CDF)) will be removed from the
Unidata-Wisconsin datastream on July 1, 1999 (tomorrow!).

McIDAS users who depend on the products being deleted need to switch to
use of McIDAS-XCD generated files as soon as possible. Users of the
FSL wind profiler data (in PROFILER.CDF) need to switch to use of the
hourly and 6-minute profiler data available in the FSL2 stream
available in the Unidata IDD.

Any site that needs help in getting McIDAS-XCD running should contact
Unidata User Support for assistance.

McIDAS-OS2 Users:

Support for Unidata McIDAS-OS2 will be discontinued on July 31, 1999.

Sites using McIDAS-OS2 should transition to use of McIDAS-X as soon as
possible. Please contact Unidata User Support for assistance in this
transition.

Please send any/all comments to Unidata User Support at the email
address listed below.
