Robb, Steve, and Mike,

Are both your ingestors running the same version of inge? I'm assuming the what
you saw on tg2 you didn't see on desi. I looked at our pqing log messages around
that time and didn't see any SOH messages at 16:01 UTC. At 16:04 we got some, 
but
they were the result of the product AGUS42 KMFL being put on the ASCII stream
when it should be on the binary stream. AGUS42 KMFL should be added to the
exceptions file.

The problems you are seeing are quite odd indeed. I don't have raw data from 
that
time period, so I can't see exactly what we received. I have since started
dumping the data into files. If you see this happen again, could you send me a
snippit of the raw text containing enough information that I can search for that
location using vi or less.

Semi related - after looking into this I noticed the following text. Notice the
lone SOH and sequence number in the SAHO31 MHTG product. Also notice that the
sequence number is completely out of sequence. I am unsure whether it is our
software that is adding this header sequence or if it is in the broadcast. I 
will
be making a test version of the ingestor that will make it clear.
