[GEMPAK #KWB-338769]: installation help

You need to source the Gemenviron.profile file BEFORE you run "make everything" 
in that directory.  The way sourcing works is that you can do it once for the 
current terminal (. Gemenviron.profile), or add that line to your .bashrc file 
and then open another terminal.

BEFORE you run "make everything", run the command "env | grep GEMPAK" to print 
out the environmental variables used by GEMPAK.  If you see nothing from that 
"env" command, you have not sourced the Gemenviron.profile file.
