20041011: CAPE computation in GEMPAK



Donna,

The sounding below has a few quirks, including the botched
lat/lon and station elevation.

The CAPE/CINS cannot be calculated from the sounding due to
the embedded missing data levels. It seems that somehow
along the way you have moved from a merged sounding to an unmerged 
sounding. Dun-no.

At any rate, the sounding could be cleaned up by hand, but just as easy 
to download the raw data from FSL's archive:
