20040901: Gempak libraries



Jean,

I looked at IBM's page:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/fortran/xlfortran/

They have a 60 day free trial download of XLF (the fortran compiler)
for AIX.  At the least, you can probably get the runtime
environment that route.

If nothing else is satisfactory, then if you want to
try building locally with gcc/g77 (3.3+), we can explore that
avenue, but its not a combination I have previously tried.
