20021002: garp



Thomas,

Auto update woks for me here. Things you might want to double check are
by pulling up the auto update panel under "time", is the auto update box 
checked?

Also, check the time on your system clock, since a discrepancy there would
certainly cause problems.

Any other information would help. For instance, are you using the
naming convention such as IR_YYYYMMDD_HHNNfor your files which
is how the distribution is configured when it leaves here, or
have you changed it locally. 

What version of GEMPAK are you using, and on what platform?
Are you running under 8 or 24 bit color (if you are using the 5.6.h 
distribution).

How many files do you have in the data directory?
