20010605: regional radar maps

Tom,

I provided GDRADR in GEMPAK 5.6.C for creating a GEMPAK grid file
of radar data. You can then plot the grid using gdplot2, gdcntr,
NMAP2 etc and overlay with any data, including satellite imagery.

For examples, see:
http://motherlode.ucar.edu/unidata/images/nids/gdradr.html

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/gempak/GEMPAK5.6/whats_new.html#5.6C

I am also working on distributing a national, and a floater grib message
in the FNEXRAD feed which sites can decode into GEMPAK format.
