Hi Patrick,
I've been on vacation for some time. gribtocdl has been deprecated but I did
look at the problem. From the trace it looks like the select timed out, so you
should increase the value. In the gribtocdl.c code, increase DEFAULT_TIMEOUT =
600 to DEFAULT_TIMEOUT = 1000 on line 146. The value might even need to be
increased higher depending on the file access time. Also, are you sure that the
file is complete before you run gribtocdl? Hopefully that solves the problem.
