Conrado,
This is a java package to decode Grib files at low level, it's auxiliary
package for display type packages such as the Unidata IDV program.
It has basic pregrams to dump/index/getData from a Grib file. The main
decoders page is: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/decoders/
There is a JavaDocs at:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/decoders/grib/javadoc
The example programs are:
Grib1Dump, Grib2Dump, Grib1Indexer, Grib2Indexer, etc.
After you read the documentation I can answer detailed questions.
