the good news is your ldmd.conf exec line is correct, the bad new is that
the etc/pqact.netcdf entries are not correct. you did see the note below
about the entries needing tabs instead of spaces in the entries?  i loaded
the entries onto the web page, at:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/decoders/index.html
there's a tag "LDM pqact entries".  Don't copy the page, use the
right mouse button and the save command to get the page. once you download
the page, test to make sure it's correct.

% ldmadmin pqactcheck <fullPathTo>/pqact.netcdf


this should verify that the pqact.netcdf file is correct.

hopefully this works for you because i'll be out of town until dec 4. if

stating you are having pqact problems.
