first, sorry about my over sight of not mentioning the changes in the
release notes.  the change was made for 2 reasons, one to eliminate the
station vars at the beginning overhead in 24 files verses 1 file, second
to manage the data on a daily basis, the time span extractions would be
more efficient.  only have to access one file verses multiples. are you
stuck in the water? or could we add some var to the file to help extract
the data on a hourly basis.  any input would be considered.
