[Datastream #DJJ-927941]: 20221207: L2 GLM Down?

Hi Carol,

First, I drove your email into our inquiry tracking system...

I just checked our machine at UWisc/SSEC, and, sure enough, the last
GOES-East GLMISatSS product was received at 16:41. At the same time,
the same products for GOES-West are current.

These GLM value-added products are being created *non-operationally*
by the Vlab group of NOAA in AWS. I have not seen any messages from
that group, but it could be that they either do not send out status
messages, or they are sending the messages to Tiffany Meyer as she is
the one that arranged for access to the products from NOAA/Vlab. I
will touch base with Tiffany to see if she has heard anything (but
I suspect that she has not otherwise would have shared that information
with the rest of the Unidata staff in Slack.

If/when we learn anything, we will pass the information along...

Cheers,

Tom
