NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - (Tues 3/9/2021 thru 3/12/2021) (TDS Path )

NCEP Central Operations (NCO) Network Support Branch (NSB) will be powering down all network equipment in Silver Spring which affect the data flow of the National
Level II (NL2) Network TDS path.

Start Time: 12:30 AM (Eastern time) Tuesday Mar 9th, 2021
Finish Time:  5:00PM (Eastern Time) Friday Mar 12th, 2021
Duration: 4 Days
Event: Facility Network Issue (Silver Spring)

The activity will take about 5 days to complete and will affect Data flow of the "Silver Spring/TDS Level II Path" for up to 4 days (Possibly, multiple times) during that window.

The Data Path via Norman, OK/RDS server is not part of this activity. (No service interruption via RDS path is anticipated.)

Please keep BOTH NL2 connections (Silver Spring & Norman) up to avoid data flow interruption.  National Level II (NL2) status information via weather.gov is available.

NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location
SPG View - TDWR Status via the NWS SPG
SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status (Shows site connectivity AND
Silver Spring vs Norman Data flow)
CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
LDM View - Level II Data flow from site
NPN View - Shows FSL2 data from the NOAA Profiler Network
