NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification (Friday 11/27/2020)(RDS)

 Radar Operation Center (ROC) will be performing Facility Software Upgrades which will affect the data flow of the Level II Network RDS (Public) path.  The activity is a software upgrades on the ROC Facility Routers which support National Level II (NL2).
  •  Start Time: 12:01 PM (Central time) Friday, November 27th, 2020
  •  Duration: 1 Hour
  •  Event: ROC Router Software Upgrade (Norman, OK)
The activity will take about 1 hour to complete and will affect Data flow of the "Norman, OK RDS Level II Path" for up to 30 minutes somewhere during that window.
 The Data Path via Silver Spring, MD/TDS NL2 servers is not part of this activity. (No service interruption via TDS path is anticipated.)

Please keep BOTH NL2 connections (Silver Spring & Norman) up to avoid data flow interruption.

National Level II (NL2) on weather.gov is available.
NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location
SPG View - TDWR Status via the NWS SPG
SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status
(Shows site connectivity AND Silver Spring vs Norman Data flow)
CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
LDM View - Level II Data flow from site
NPN View - Shows FSL2 data from the NOAA Profiler Network
