Re: NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - (Wed/Fri **11/4 thru 11/7** 2020) (TDS Path )



Silver Spring Facility Maintenance will be performing upgrades which require powering down all servers in Silver Spring which affect the data flow of the National Level II (NL2) Network TDS (Public) path. 

• Start Time: 8:00 PM (Eastern time) Wednesday Nov 4th, 2020
• Finish Time:  8:00PM (Eastern Time) Friday Nov 6th, 2020
• Duration: 48 Hours
• Event: Facility Power Upgrade (Silver Spring)

The activity will take about 48 hours to complete and will affect Data flow of the "Silver Spring/TDS Level II Path" for up to 48 hours during that window.  (Additional NWS services will be impacted as well.)  A text version of the file below was sent on AWIPS/NOAAPort/NWWS/EMWIN.

 The Data Path via Norman, OK/RDS NL2 servers is not part of this activity. (No service interruption via RDS path is anticipated.)

Please keep BOTH NL2 connections (Silver Spring & Norman) up to avoid data flow interruption.

NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location
SPG View - TDWR Status via the NWS SPG
SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status (Shows site connectivity AND Silver Spring vs Norman Data flow)
CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
LDM View - Level II Data flow from site
NPN View - Shows FSL2 data from the NOAA Profiler Network
