Re: NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - (REVISED DATE) Tuesday July 9th, 2019 (Silver Spring)

Radar Operations Center Engineering will be performing routine maintenance activities to the TOC portion of the National Level II (NL2) Network.  The activity is a software & security upgrade required on NL2 servers supporting the Silver Spring gateway. (Original July 2nd install has been postponed.)

 NEW Start Time: 12:30 PM (Central time)  Tuesday July 9th, 2019
 Duration: 1 Hour
 Event: TOC NL2 server Software & Security Updates

  The activity will take about 1 hour to complete and will effect Data flow of the "Silver Spring Level II Path" for up to 10 minutes somewhere during that window.  (TDS Path)
 
 The ROC Data Path via the Norman NL2 servers is not part of this activity.
 (No service interruption via RDS path is anticipated.)

Please keep BOTH NL2 client connections up to avoid data flow interruption.

    NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location  
    SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status (Shows Silver Spring vs Norman Data flow)
    CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
    LDM View - Level II Data flow from site (NOTE which radio button "TDS vs RDS" you are checking)
