NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - Sat. Nov 22nd, 2018 (ROC)

Radar Operations Center will be performing routine maintenance activities to the ROC portion of the Level II Network (ROC Facility) .  The activity effects the facility Internet II data path out of the RDS in Norman to the Level II users.

(NL2) USERS ARE ADVISED TO KEEP TDS CONNECTIONS UP THIS WEEKEND.

             Start Time: 9:00 AM (Central time) Saturday Dec 22nd, 2018
             Duration: 3 Hours
             Event: ROC Facility Firewall (RDS "I2" data path event).

The activities will take place over a 3 hour window and will effect data flow of the "Norman Level II Path"  for up to 30 minutes and will likely experience multiple interruptions.  (RDS Path)

The Silver Spring data path via the TDS server is not part of this activity.

  (No service interruption via the Silver Spring path is anticipated.)

The system upgrades are subject to NCEP Critical Weather Day notification.
