NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - Saturday March 7th, 2018 (TOC)

NOAA Building Management/Facilities in Silver Spring, MD will be performing facility power maintenance activities to the TDS portion of the Level II Network.  The activity is a power rework required on the 9th floor of the facility.  The NL2 hardware is NOT on the 9th floor - this is just an advisory.  

I will lose all Level II network service in Silver Spring if I don't send out this notice.  (Murphy's Law)
 
 Start Time: 4:30 AM (Central time) Saturday March 7th, 2018
 Duration: 4 Hours
 Event: Facilities (Power) Maintenance (Silver Spring)
 
 The activity will take about 4 hours to complete and may effect Data flow of the "Primary Level II Path" for during this period.  (TDS Path)
 
 The Alternate Data Path via the ROC servers is not part of this activity.
 (Minor service interruption is anticipated if switching between Aggregate servers.)

This is just an advisory notice to recommend NEXRAD Level II services will be pulled from both sources during the period.
 
 All system upgrades are subject to NCEP Critical Weather Day notification.
