NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - Wednesday March 7th, 2018 (RDS Feed)

The University of Oklahoma's internet service provider, OneNet and N-WAVE, have scheduled network maintenance that will likely effect the (Internet II) Level II feed from the RDS.
 
 Start Time: 12:01 AM (Central time) Wednesday March 7th, 2018
 Duration: 6 hours
 Event: Internet 2 Planned Maintenance on the RDS Internet II path.
 
 The planned activity is scheduled to last up to 6 hours to complete and may effect Data flow of the "Alternate (RDS) Level II Path" (exact duration of RDS service impact was not disclosed.)
 
 The National Level II (NL2) servers themselves are not part of this activity.  (No service interruption via Primary (TDS) path is anticipated.)

In addition - Users connected to the RDS output via the NWS Enterprise network will not be effected.
It is highly recommended that users verify their TDS data path before this event to avoid impacts to Level II service.
 
 The system upgrades MAY BE subject to NCEP Critical Weather Day notification.
