NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - Wednesday January 31th, 2018

N-Wave engineers will be migrating Internet, Internet 2, and ESnet services at the NOAA DC Metro Trusted Internet Connection Access Point (TICAP) from using bypass mode to using the inline security stack at the TICAP.
 
 Start Time: 5:00 PM (Central time) Wednesday January 31th, 2018
 Duration: 180 Minutes
 Event: Internet 2 service migration on the DC TICAP
 
 The activity will take about 90 minutes to complete and will effect Data flow of the "Primary Level II Path" for up to 5 minutes.  (TDS Path)
 
 The National Level II (NL2) servers themselves are not part of this activity.
 (No service interruption via alternate path is anticipated.)
 
 The system upgrades MAY BE subject to NCEP Critical Weather Day notification.

NOTE: N-Wave has advised that customers who access the Internet, Internet 2 (I2), and the Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) via the DC Metro TICAP, including OneNWSnet, legacy OPSnet, NCEP, and OPSnet ATP, may experience an interruption in service of up to 5 minutes as these services are moved from bypass mode to inline mode.
