Hi Don,
These pattern actions you referenced are for data ingest via the LDM/IDD
designed to deliver real time
data to universities and research organizations.
It appears as if you represent the commercial sector?

Again, this network serves the .edu and research communities via the LDM/IDD,
the LDM software is defined and obtained here:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/
and the IDD defined:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/projects/index.html#idd
We do allow --occasional access from our "pull" systems (THREDDS Servers) from
.com, but we will block any IP that hits the server too frequently as to impact
our core users. (i.e. not to be used for any persistent access)
Please see:
http://thredds.ucar.edu/thredds/idd/radars.html (or .xml for machine access)
Hope this helps,
Jeff
