Unidata is NOT an archive center, we deliver real time data and output to 
universities and research organizations.

I encourage you to find your grids at either:

NOMADS:

https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/data-access/model-data

or

NARR:

http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/data/gridded/data.narr.html


depending on your needs.
