[Datastream #BWY-785845]: Question about National Mosaic Radar Data

Hi Munsung,

That is correct.

The files were generated and distributed in the Unidata Internet Data
Distribution (IDD) system. Due to disk problems, they were not saved
on thredds.ucar.edu. They are, however, available via a THREDDS
development server, thredds-dev.unidata.ucar.edu.

NB: The NEXRAD Level III composite stores on all of the machines that we
maintain are limited in the number of days that are kept. If you need
the GRIB2 composite data from the period you noted above, you should
make sure to grab them _soon_.

The files are missing on thredds.ucar.edu because the machine had disk-related
problems during that time (and other) time period.

re:

Please see above.

re:

Again, the NEXRAD Level III composites are available on the
thredds-dev.unidata.ucar.edu
server, but they will not be there for long, so you should grab the files as
soon
as possible before they get scoured.

re:

No worries.

Cheers,

Tom
