Rescheduled: NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - Thursday February 11th, 2016 (TOC)

While it is not a Critical Weather Day, the NL2 Maintenance Activity has been differed till Thursday 9:30 AM (Eastern Time)due to local weather considerations in the Silver Spring area.

 Start Time: 8:30 AM (Central time) Thursday February 11th, 2016
 Duration: 3 Hours
 Event: Level II Software & Security Updates (Build 7.0)

Radar Operations Center Engineering will be performing routine maintenance activities to the TOC portion of the Level II Network.  The activity is a software & security upgrade required on all servers in the TOC Level II cluster.

 The activity will take about 3 hours to complete and will effect Data flow of the "Primary Level II Path" for up to 30 minutes.  (TDS Path)
 
 The Alternate Data Path via the ROC servers is not part of this activity.
 (Minor service interruption is anticipated when switching between Aggregate servers.)
 
 
 All system upgrades are subject to NCEP Critical Weather Day notification.
