[McIDAS #KYC-821479]: West ADDE Server Hung

I will relay this observation to SSEC.

It could well be that the failures being seen on populating the EAST/WEST
datasets on unidata2.ssec.wisc.edu are are result of problems on the
SDI ingester(s) that is(are) being used to populate the datasets.  SSEC
is in the process of retiring the SDI machines currently being used
and moving the ingest to a different box(es).  During the transition there
might be service interruptions as the new hardware is running a different
OS than the current one(s).  Just a heads up...

NOAA operates a publically available ADDE server (group PUB on
GP16.SSD.NESDIS.NOAA.GOV) that may have data you can use as a backup to
the WEST and EAST datasets on unidata2.
