Hi Meredith,

>Thank you for your response regarding obtaining the neartime satellite
>data.

No worries.

>I have one other question about this data, if the data is
>organized by ccyymmdd how come all the files in the neartime directory
>begin with 20.

CC as the century portion of the year means the portion of the year
that is the result of the year divided by 100. With a four digit year
value being represented by CCYY, the current year of 2005 gives CC = 20
and YY = 05.

Since you are looking for imagery data for several days in September
2005, you would be looking in directories like:

200509xx

where 'xx' is the day of the month you are interested in.

>I need files for 2005, so I should be looking for files
>that begin with 2105. Where can I find these files?

Look in 2005.

>Thank you!

No worries.

Cheers,

Tom
