Hi Liz,

I apologize for not getting back to you on this inquiry until now.
This simply slipped through the cracks.

>I am with ENSR International in Westford, MA. We are an environmental
>consulting firm and are in need of an archived source for Hourly Cloud Cover
>data for the years 1990, 1992, and 1996. I found your Cloud Top Pressure
>map and feel that it may be of use to us. Do you have an hourly archive of
>these images for the years specified?

No, we do not maintain archives of this data.

>Do you have any other sources of cloud cover data?

The CIMSS group of the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) at
the University of Wisconsin is the originator of the Cloud Cover data.
You amy want to contact them to see if they have additional products that
will be useful to you, and if they have an archive of the data.

>I found some text data with the mcidas name attached at
>http://orbit-net.nesdis.noaa.gov/goes/asos/ then FPDT Experimental GOES-E
>Sounder Based ASOS Supplemental Cloud Products ASCII Text Format. Is this
>your data and do you have it hourly archived for these dates or can you tell
>me how to obtain this data?

You would do best to contact CIMSS:

http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu

>Our need is to be able to identify the hourly cloud cover for sites in the
>upper Midwest for the three years .
>Thanks for any help you may give us.

Best of luck in your endeavors.
