David, Celia, and Steve,

A quick, good news update on using the existing FL-4 satellite dish 4
to ingest the WSI satellite broadcast now being hosted on GE-1:

This noon we were able to realign the dish to point at GE-1 (103
degrees west) and we are once again receiving the NEXRAD composites
from WSI! Our previous alignment attempt (done following directions
from WSI and using the satellite receiver's align mode tone) had us
pointing too far west. Using the fact that we are at equinox, we were
able to align the dish at solar noon "by eye" and get a good lock and
strong signal.

It would be most helpful for those of you that use this data to keep an
eye on the quality of the products for the next few days and let us
know if you see anything amiss.

Cheers,

Tom Yoksas
