Hi Jason,
Information on the NWS datastreams is provided as a community service for the Unidata participants. We really have nothing to do with NWS decisions to retain or remove datastreams. I've appended the last announcement regarding Difax to this note, but if you want to discuss the data distribution, you can use the URL at the bottom of the announcement to contact them and pose your question.
