20020903: WXP unable to navigate Mollweide McIDAS AREA files

I sent out a query to SSEC to see if anything specific had been done
to process that generates the Mollweide composites contained in the
Unidata-Wisconsin datastream.  Here is the inquiry I made and the
reply I got:

  Not that I am aware of .... I did upgrade McIDAS on the machine that
  generates the composites (not gold.)  The images look fine on that
  machine, and on gold before they are sent.  I'll check to see if any
  nav changes were made for the Mollweide projection in the latest McIDAS
  version.

What I can add to this is that we do not see a problem in displaying
or navigating the Mollweide global composites in either McIDAS or GEMPAK.

I can make as many of these images available to you as you want/need.
I can give you information about the Mollweide projection as extracted
from McIDAS code.  Please let me know.

So, perhaps the navigation problem is a non-issue for current code?
