The thanks belong to Jerry Robaidek of SSEC as he was the one who got
things working.  I am CCing Jerry on this reply and adding my thanks
to yours for jumping in and fixing the problem!

I would really feel good about the "fix" if the 0, and 1Z images
had been sent last night (October 31).  Maybe Halloween took its toll :-)

Looks like we got a 00Z image today, don't think I'll stick around to
see if 1Z comes in...
