Re: Degradation of NOAA=15 HIRS and AMSUA data - update.

SOCC is still investigating the problem of the now unusable NOAA-15 HIRS
data.  They will be doing more testing over the weekend and hope to have
some answers by next week sometime.

They've also reported that channel 14 of the NOAA-15 AMSUA data has also
failed, as of 1820UTC JDAY 304.  Channel 13 also appears to have failed
going back at least as far as day 306.  SOCC is investigating this also.
