[Fwd: Flawed GMS-5 data]

   This problem has been corrected. There are still occasional flaws in
the data but the poor signal problem that was causing the multiple flaws
was  corrected over the weekend.

We continue to receive flawed GMS-5 data (generally between
about 1700 utc & 2200 utc each day). The problem is external
to SSEC. (It appears to be at a ground station in Hawaii.) The
problem is being worked on but may not be fixed until sometime
next week.
